Northmead Assembly of God embarked on a mission to continue the 2018 Theme of Harvest, with a new sub-theme – Living the Life, Manifesting Jesus, based on John 1;4 which says In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind (NIV). In order to carry out this mandate, Life Groups were introduced in place of Cell Groups to practically manifest the life of Jesus within the Life Groups and around the City.
Since January 21st, Life Groups meet in homes across Lusaka every week and additionally carry out evangelistic activities in their area and meet needs in the community from schools, prisons, clinics, hospitals, refugee holding homes, special needs organizations, police stations, funerals homes of members, orphanages, street kids and other areas where there is need.
Food and other groceries, ministry to the sick and prisoners with ministry of the Word of God has gone out into the community since the beginning of the year and the Life of Jesus is being ministered to needy areas by ordinary members of Northmead Assembly of God through Life Groups.
From the crossover New Year Service to April 2019, God has added 470 souls to the Kingdom. We look forward to God’s continued Grace to go the distance for the Gospel of Jesus Christ – Harvest Re-visted – Living the Life, Manifesting Jesus!
