Today, Northmead Assembly of God (NAOG) church has launched a new theme for the year 2019. The focus is on re-visiting the harvest. In Mathew 9:35-37, the Lord Jesus speaks of the harvest being plentiful and the labourers few. We believe that we are the workers sent into his harvest field.
“35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Building from the 2018 Theme: It’s Harvest time, and being equipped throughout 2018 on the meaning and commission of Jesus, this year, the body of Christ at NAOG is re-visiting the harvest, now equipped to live the life of the harvest labourer and manifest Jesus!
