•    Words, “After six days” (V2) - link the transfiguration directly to Jesus’ prediction in verse 1.
•    Event occurred on the seventh day after the prediction—a day reminiscent of fulfillment and special revelation (Ref. Ex. 24:15-16). 
•    Marks record of Jesus journey with the 3 disciples (to a high mountain & the place of transfiguration - v)  – spiritually similar to our picture of our daily journey with Him as he takes us higher

The Men of Truth this past weekend held its first ever sports outreach, The men of Truth used the 2010 African cup of nations final between Egypt and Ghana as the first such event, in line with the 2010 Church theme KNOWING GOD: Going higher, Reach one, Teach One.The event was used as a tool for evangelism with men encouraged to invite unsaved friends.

2010 THEME UNVEILED
Northmead Assembly of God church has officially launched the 2010 Theme a theme that focuses on the significance of every Christian reaching out for Christ, speaking Sunday Bishop Joshua HK Banda  said this years theme marked a return to the central mission of the church, the reason why the church is to exist.
